A full-time bilingual school aide position is available in our early childhood program in DC. We need an immediate hire to start ASAP! Our program caters to children ages 3 months to 5 years. The work schedule is Monday through Friday. We are looking for candidates who can work daily, are flexible and are punctual.
Responsibilities:
Preps and serves attractive and nutritionally balanced meals
Perform maintenance tasks such as maintaining refrigerators, freezers, and storerooms in a neat and clean order
Ensure that food supplies are securely stored
Ensure that all tables/chairs, kitchen, cooking-related areas, and equipment are clean and in working order
Assist teachers with day-to-day operations, restroom breaks, meals, and naps
Assists with diaper changes and toilet training
Maintain details regarding allergies, meals, clothes, etc.
Complete cleaning tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and cleaning windows and restrooms
Keeps the environment very neat, clean, and organized
Qualifications:
Experience prepping food and cleaning
Experience working with young children in a group setting
Caring and nurturing attitude towards children
Flexible, professional, and prompt
Able to lift, bend, and sit on the carpet with kids
