Job Description: We are seeking an English tutor who can work in a group setting with middle/ high school students at our center. We value strong interpersonal and communication skills, we want tutors who can summarize complex subjects simply, and patiently.
Key Responsibilities:
-Provide collective tutoring to middle and high school students, in a group setting with specialization in language arts.
-Provide effective & meaningful feedback on Essays for the essay writing batch.
-Administer SAT review & lecture sessions, including feedback.
-Maintain a patient, empathetic and resourceful approach while tutoring.
Qualifications:
-Two years of experience tutoring or teaching, one-on-one or group-based.
-Area of study in English Education, or a related field.
-Strong understanding of reading, writing, grammar concepts and the ability to explain them patiently, and compassionately.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in, English Language Arts, or related field (Preferred)
This position is stable and long term.
Test Materials are ready for use, additional lecture notes for SAT and Essay prompts are required from teachers.
