We are seeking for an Assistant Teacher to work Monday-Friday 9am-6pm. To be considered an Assistant Teacher at our school, you need to have either a VALID CDA or 12 hours of college credits (preferably in ECE) and must be able to pass a background check. They would also have to be comfortable working with all ages from infants to five years of age. This position would be working alongside the Lead Teacher and Child Care Assistant to support the needs of the children and families that we serve.
What will you be doing as an Assistant Teacher aboard our team?
Assist Lead teachers with paperwork and preparing lessons.
Take the lead if the Lead Teacher is absent.
Ensure the safety of all children in our program.
Helps enforce rules to help teach appropriate behavior, and procedures for maintaining order.
Maintain a calm, positive attitude and soft voice while working together with the parents, staff and the Management Team.
Maintain ongoing, open communication with parents, coworkers and the Management Team.
Help maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing environment for children.
All staff members have the option of wearing a mask if they so choose.
There is a signing bonus of $250 upon successful completion of the probationary period.
