Responsibilities This is a trainee position in the Management and Resources Staff (MRS) of the Wireless Telecommunications Bureau (WTB). The incumbent is an entry level specialist in organizational administrative management programs, and will be responsible for assisting senior level specialist with complex and sometimes controversial studies in a wide variety of administrative management areas that include but are not limited to: Budget analysis and preparation Personnel and Human Resources work Clerical work Bureau planning and policy development Requirements Conditions of Employment FCC Employees Only Suitable for employment as determined by a background investigation. Upon satisfactory completion of an upward mobility training and developmental program the employee will be eligible for placement in a target position and grade of: Title: Administrative Support Specialist Pay Plan: GS Series: 0301 Grade: 11 An individual training plan will be designed for the individual selected and will cover the entire training period. The plan will specify developmental assignments involving on-the-job training as well as formal training courses. The training plan will correspond to the particular needs of the individual selected in order to meet the requirements of the target position.
