In this vital role you support Clinical Trial Site engagement and Risk Based Study Execution (RBSE) ecosystem within Global Development Operations. This includes managing RBSE, Site Safety Notification distribution, Site Training solutions, and strategizing /delivering end - end site collaboration solution. The Business Systems Analyst will join the multidisciplinary IT team providing end to end information and technology capability to R&D Global Development Operations (GDO). The IT team manages applications used by Global Development Operations from Clinical Trial Design through Study Start Up and Study Conduct and Close Out. Because Clinical Development is flexible and adaptive, this team succeeds by embracing a high degree of collaboration, open communication, comprehensive analysis, and agile decision-making.The Analyst will work closely with business partners within Global Development Operations and IT colleagues to develop, implement and advance technical solutions to support Global Development Operations. We are looking for a Technical Business Analyst with a proven versatile skillset, including technical acumen and excellent learning agility with the ability to lead joint discussions requiring innovative technological solutions to complex scientific problems. The Analyst will bring to bear a combination of prior experience, problem solving skills and client engagement skills to drive business strategies to successful outcomes. With Business and Information Systems strategy in mind, the analyst will lead, maintain, and drive digital innovation for Risk Based Study Execution function and Amgen’s function to distribute Safety Notifications to clinical sites and other key systems in support of this critical function.Responsibilities Include:

Leading multi-functional teams comprising of business process owners, IT staff, and external partners to evaluate and implement solutions to support Global Development Operations’ Clinical Trial Site engagement and Patient engagement ecosystem. This includes managing Site Safety Notification distribution solution, Site Training solutions and assessing additional site facing / patient facing solutions and strategizing / delivering end - end site collaboration solution.

Partnering with business counterparts, Technical Product Owner and other members of the product team to deliver solutions supporting RBSE and Clinical Trial Site engagement.

Performing IT business analysis for the Global Development Operations to support RBSE and Clinical Trial Site engagement ecosystem.

Leading all aspects of project delivery and ensuring alignment to IT Standard Operating Procedures and Amgen policies.

Developing business cases to communicate and request funds for digital innovation opportunities, including the scope, timeline, and resources vital to achieving successful outcomes.

Being GDO IT point of escalation for Amgen business critical IT issues impacting RBSE and Clinical Trial Site engagement functions.

Leading multi-functional teams comprising of business process owners, IT staff, and external partners to evaluate and implement solutions to support RBSE and Clinical Trial Site engagement functions.

Handling successful delivery of projects and programs with appropriate planning, financial, resource, vendor and risk management, using Agile methodology to maintain healthy balance of scope, resources, quality, and timelines.

Partnering with Partner Services, Architecture, CDT and other Amgen IT teams on continual systems delivery improvements.

Working globally with multiple IT and business stakeholders both internal to external.
