We want everyone who works at CVS Health to feel empowered by the role they play in transforming our culture and accelerating our ability to innovate and deliver solutions to make health care more personal, convenient and affordable.Position SummaryCVS Health is seeking a tax professional with the ability to navigate and collaborate with multiple stakeholders in a large and complex organization.The Senior Tax Analyst will be an integral part of the tax function and work cross functionally between the tax technology, tax compliance, and tax provision teams. The primary responsibilities include tax return preparation and tax provision calculation for financial reporting.Responsibilities:

Prepare U.S. federal and state income tax returns/extension/estimated tax calculations for assigned subsidiaries including both Corporate and partnership entities.

Prepare quarterly and annual income tax provisions in accordance with ASC 740 for assigned subsidiaries.

Prepare income tax account reconciliations for assigned subsidiaries.

Assist in supporting and maintaining readiness for the tax department’s Corporate tax software system to facilitate ongoing use in preparation of income tax provision and compliance deliverables.

Document tax technology requirements, processes, and procedures.

Support ongoing projects and business initiatives and assist with special projects as requested.

Required Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience in corporate tax or in public accounting.

Strong tax provision and compliance experience in corporate tax.

Preferred Qualifications

Broad understanding and experience with corporate or partnership federal and state income tax.

CPA or CPA candidate preferred.

Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, i.e., Excel spreadsheet.

Experience with Corptax system is strong plus.

Strong accounting, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

High-level of energy, enthusiasm and desire to grow your career.

Ability to communicate clearly, accurately, and tactfully, both verbally and in writing. Ideally able to communicate complicated tax issues in a way that is easily understood by business partners and internal stakeholders.

Ability to work productively with a high degree of independence and with accuracy and high attention to detail, while knowing when to seek guidance or assistance.

Experience with S4 HANA or similar ERP systems.

EducationBachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.Pay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:$46,988.00 - $112,200.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
