Executive Sous Chef – Bistro Du Jour, Capitol Hill
KNEAD Hospitality + Design is seeking a talented Executive Sous Chef to join our Bistro Du Jour team in Capitol Hill. This French-inspired concept combines brasserie classics with modern flair in an energetic setting adjacent to the Royal Sonesta Hotel.
As Executive Sous Chef, you’ll partner with the Executive Chef and General Manager to oversee all kitchen operations, uphold culinary standards, and ensure consistency across every plate.
Qualification
3–5 years of experience as a Chef de Cuisine or Executive Sous Chef
Experience with French cuisine is a plus
Culinary or hospitality degree/certification preferred but not required
Strong leadership and team-building abilities
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Experience maintaining menu standards and plating guidelines
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Understanding of financial goals, cost management, and labor control
