We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Deli Supervisor to join our bustling family-owned Italian deli. You will manage daily operations, oversee multiple employees, and ensure that our deli maintains its reputation for high-quality food and exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
Staff Management: Lead, manage, and schedule a team of deli employees. Provide training and development to new and existing staff.
Customer Service: Uphold our commitment to excellent customer service. Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally and efficiently.
Operational Efficiency: Manage daily operations, including food preparation, order fulfillment, and maintenance of cleanliness and safety standards.
Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels, order stock, and manage supplier relationships. Ensure the availability of all necessary ingredients and deli items.
Quality Control: Maintain the highest quality standards for all deli products, ensuring that food is stored, prepared, and presented in line with health and safety regulations.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal food safety laws.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in food service management or a similar role, preferably in a deli or restaurant environment.
Strong leadership skills and experience managing a team.
Excellent customer service skills and the ability to handle various customer service issues.
Knowledge of food handling and safety protocols.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
