Position: Store Manager

The Store Manager at Taqueria Xochi is an entrepreneur, head coach, and hospitality adventurer rolled into one. You'll lead a team, inspire them daily, ensure that we continuously mentor our employees, and improve our service to customers. At Taqueria Xochi you will build a lasting and impactful career.

Bilingual in Spanish/English preferred.

Your Responsibilities:

Leadership, Training, and Development:

Attract, train, and develop top hospitality professionals.

Motivate and inspire your team to bring their best every day.

Actively manage performance and provide structured feedback.

Recruit, train, and coach the entire taqueria team.

Lead the restaurant team in day-to-day operations with hands-on leadership.

Thoughtfully schedule staff with consideration for business activity.

Manage new initiatives and scheduled launches within the taqueria.

Create and maintain a diverse, equitable, and inclusive work environment.

Empower your team to enhance the customer experience.

Operational Excellence:

Ensure all staff fully embody the Taqueria Xochi mission.

Maintain the highest standards of Mexican Hospitality.

Operate with high standards of cleanliness and organization.

Oversee facilities maintenance and ensure safety.

Instill pride in store-display and visual merchandising.

Continuously improve operating procedures.

Consistently taste and provide feedback on food quality.

Ensure compliance with culinary, DOH, and cleanliness standards.

Business Management:

Deliver on the customer experience while hitting profitability targets.

Efficiently manage labor, COGs, and expenses to meet goals.

Monitor operational flow and ensure standards are followed.

Ensure a cost-conscious maintenance plan for all equipment.

Guarantee a healthy financial bottom line.

Qualifications:

2+ years of exceptional leadership skills and experience.

Experience in hospitality or retail management.

Extensive guest service skills.

Strong financial acumen with an understanding of profit and loss.

Experience with administrative tasks and technology-based systems.

Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.

Knowledge of health and safety guidelines.
