Home Instead Annandale is in need of CNA/Certs/PCA/HHA for SHORT HOUR weekdays and weekend shifts. We are seeking Care Pros for short hour shifts, 4-6 hours a day for weekdays and weekends. About the Role:
Join Home Instead in Annandale, VA as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and make a meaningful impact in the lives of seniors. We are looking for compassionate individuals who are dedicated to providing exceptional care and support to our clients in a warm and inviting environment.
Responsibilities:
Assist clients with daily living activities including bathing, grooming, and meal preparation.
Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life.
Monitor and report changes in clients' health status to the care team.
Monitor medications as prescribed and assist with mobility and physical therapy exercises.
Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
Document client care and activities accurately and timely.
Collaborate with family members and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance caregiving skills.
Requirements:
Valid CNA certification/PCA/HHA in the state of Virginia.
Experience in senior care or healthcare preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Compassionate and patient demeanor with a genuine love for helping others.
Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings.
Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client locations.
Flexible schedule, including availability for evenings and weekends.
Basic understanding of medical terminology and caregiving practices.
