Home Instead Annandale is in need of Home Helper/Companions available for short and long weekday hours. We have T/Th 8-12, MWF 8-12p, T/Th 11-3 and other various shifts that are available. About the Role:

Responsibilities:
Provide companionship and emotional support to seniors.
Assist with daily living activities, including meal preparation and light housekeeping.
Medication reminders and monitor health conditions.
Engage clients in social and recreational activities to promote mental well-being.
Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
Document care provided and report any changes in client conditions.
Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in caregiving is a plus.
Previous experience in senior care or related field preferred.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Compassionate and patient demeanor with a genuine love for helping others.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends.
CPR certification is a required and is provided.
