RESIDENTIAL LIVE-IN CAREGIVER:
Provide support for up to 6 residents (max of 8), living within a Mental Health Community Residential Facility. This Staff will participate in the daily routine of the home, and provide support for within the home.
We are looking to hire IMMEDIATELY, with training starting IMMEDIATELY after you are hired. You must obtain and pay for: a FBI Background Check ($70), a CPR/First Aid Certificate ($15), and a Food Handler Certificate ($15). We will tell you where and how to obtain all of these if you do not have them already.
THIS IS AN OVERNIGHT/MOVE IN POSITION. PLEASE READ DETAILS BELOW:
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
1. Staff will assist residents with daily activities, home care and maintenance.
2. Participate in implementation of person-centered plan under guidance from Directors. (some games with residents during down time in home).
3. Provide direct assistance to build socialization, behavior management skills, and daily/community living skills.
4. Maintain documentation, progress notes, and other data as needed.
5. Communicate with other staff and Owners on progress, needs, concerns and changes related to residents being supported.
6. Respond to individual safety needs, including reporting significant changes in behavior and health.
7. Perform housekeeping duties as assigned.
8. Prepare meals in accordance with individual dietary needs and preferences.
9. Complete medication management activities including assisting residents to take medication, educating residents about medication, correct and timely documentation of medication administration.
10. Participate in ongoing quality improvement activities, including staff meetings.
11. Follow all MHCRF (Mental Health Community Residential Facility) Policies and Procedures.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
1. Staff understands they would essentially be moving into the facility within the Live-In quarters of the home.
2. All furniture; A plush pillowtop bed, a side table, a sitting chair, a lamp a digital clock and a access to a full bathroom with a standing shower and tub combo is provided.
3. All bills (rent, water, gas, electric, wi-fi, etc.) would be covered in exchange for services as well as a salary of $2,500 a month. ($1,250 bi-weekly)
4. Staff understands there are various amounts of hours they will be relieved of job duties by the work of other Staff members.
5. STAFF UNDERSTANDS THAT NO ONE UNDER THE AGE OF 18 YEARS OLD IS ALLOWED IN THE HOME.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or equivalent appropriately accredited.
Must be able to obtain and pass a Food Management Certification. ($15)
Must be able to obtain and pass a FBI Background Check. ($70)
Must be able to obtain and pass a CPR/First Aid Certificate ($15)
Must be able to pass a Child Protection Registry Check.
Must be able to pass a Nurse Aide Registry Background Check.
Must be able to pass a Sex Offender Background Check.
Must have reliable transportation.

Emergency Evacuation Plans
Fire Extinguisher Training (PASS) and all fire drill practices
DAYS AND HOURS:
Because this is a MOVE-IN position, Staff would be off 10:00am - 4:30pm everyday. Sleeping hours are from 10:00pm - 8:00am. All other hours can be discussed more if considered for an interview.
