A large surgical practice located just steps from the Friendship Hts. Metro station is in need of a Patient Care Coordinator to join a team of four other Patient Care Coordinators. Hours are 7:45 a.m. to 4:15 p.m.
Duties include:
Welcome patients to the office
Check patients in and update patient demographics
Collect co-pays
Scan insurance cards
Verify insurance eligibility
Make new patient charts
Check patients out
Make follow up appointments
Education, Skills and Experience Required:
High school education
At least two year's medical office experience preferably in a busy group practice
Pleasant, outgoing personality, making every patient feel welcome.
