We are seeking a compassionate and dependable live-in home health aide to provide support for a family member who requires ongoing care. This is a unique arrangement offering free housing plus additional guaranteed paid shifts.
The live-in health aide should be comfortable providing intimate personal care. The patient has expressed a preference for a female caregiver for privacy reasons.
Compensation & Housing Arrangement:
Private bedroom provided in a comfortable home in College Park, MD.
Rent value: $1,000/month, fully offset by:
5 evening shifts per week (with overnight on-call those nights), and
5 day shifts per month.
Additional shifts: 7 paid shifts per month at $200 each = $1,400/month take-home pay.
Net arrangement: free rent + $1,400/month.
Additional Shifts available at $20 per hour
Schedule:
Evenings: 5 per week (rent offset).
On-call: Overnight during those 5 evenings.
Days: 5 per month (rent offset).
Paid shifts: 7 per month.
Responsibilities:
Assistance with positioning, meals, personal care, and clean-ups.
Support with medical equipment as needed.
Overnight presence during on-call evenings (sleeping most of the night is fine but must respond if needed).
Provide a safe, supportive environment.
Qualifications:
Prior experience as a home health aide, CNA, or personal care assistant strongly preferred.
Compassionate, dependable, and trustworthy.
Able to commit to the live-in arrangement and scheduled shifts.
