Genuine Care Home Care is seeking a Registered Nurse to play a critical role in assessing the home care needs of our elderly clients. Serving Fairfax, Prince William and Loudoun counties as well as the cities of Alexandria and Arlington, Genuine Care needs an RN to visit our clients to perform medical assessments at the start of care and a follow-up assessment 90 days afterwards. Your expertise will help us ensure our clients receive the best possible care tailored to their individual needs.
Earn $80 for each start of care assessment and $60 for each 90 day follow-up assessment!

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct initial health assessments for new clients, including home safety assessments and health history reviews.
Perform comprehensive re-assessments for existing clients 90 days after the initial assessment to monitor changes in health status.
Develop and update individualized care plans in collaboration with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
Provide education and support to clients and their families regarding health management and care options.
Document assessments and care plans accurately and in a timely manner.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and services for clients.
Stay current with best practices in home care and nursing.
Qualifications:
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Virginia.
Experience in home care or geriatrics is a plus.
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Proficient in electronic medical records and documentation.
