A non-profit trade group representing utility companies has a need for an experienced transactional / contracts attorney to provide in-house legal support on a temporary basis. This a temporary position expected to run through at least January 2025. The position is full time 35 hours/week (9-5). Work is hybrid with 3 days in office/week in DC (typically Monday-Wednesday). Position requires (1) an active license to practice in DC, MD or VA; (2) 7+ years of experience with a range of contracts; (3) excellent communication skills.salary: $100 - $130 per hourshift: Firstwork hours: 9 AM - 5 PMeducation: DoctoralResponsibilities Provides cradle-to-grave contract support, including all pre-contract activity – NDAs, TAs, PIAs, MOUs, Reps and Certs, monitoring registrations, and preparing solicitation documentation (pre and post award), reviewing proposals for compliance, and formulating negotiating positions.Personally manage a portfolio of contracts and agreements and analyzes project requirement(s) and develops solutions to company needsCreates/Maintains Contract file folders, prepare solicitation documentation, and review proposals for complianceOversee internal and external contract information systems, adhering to established requirementsPerform risk analyses, identify risks and opportunities, potential impacts, and mitigation plan Skills ContractsNegotiation Qualifications Years of experience: 7 yearsExperience level: Experienced Randstad is a world leader in matching great people with great companies.
