Law Counsel is recruiting attorneys/paralegals to work on an a hybrid assignment with the Business Services group of a large DC law firm.
The work entails checking/screening conflicts and drafting engagement agreements for new hires and clients of the firm. This is not a document review project. The work is detailed oriented and can be administrative in nature. Strong attention to detail and excellent computer skills are needed.
Attorneys, experienced paralegals and college graduates are welcome to apply. A law degree/license however is not required.
The hourly rate is $32.00 per hour and 1.5 for OT. Hours are 40 per week on a Monday thru Friday to start but after approximately one month OT is expected to be approved to 60 hours and a Monday thru Sunday schedule will be available.
The expected duration is 4+ months, through the end of this year and possibly longer and candidates must be comfortable making this long term commitment.
This is a hybrid position which requires working ONSITE for 3 days at the law firm located in Washington, DC and 2 days remotely. For the first month of training the firm does require onsite work 5 days per week.
