Prominent IP law firm is seeking a bright, organized, self-starter for our IT department. Outstanding opportunity to work in a professional, congenial work environment with room for growth.
Recent college graduates with solid IT experience or internships will be considered.
Duties: The IT Support Specialist position will be the first level support for users of the firm's computer systems.
1. Respond timely to support end users with computer hardware and software issues by solving the issue and by educating the end user on the equipment and software.
2. Printer administration: replacing toner and making calls to the vendor for service. Tracking the times service is required and reporting to the IT manager.
3. Maintaining Firm intranet site updating as needed (basic HTML, CSS)
4. Computer configuration and deployment as needed
5. Assist in network administration
6. Set up webinars and conference calls
7. Receive and clear incoming Info emails that come to the firm
8. Experience with Social Media sites and Constant Contact and willing to assist with marketing efforts of the firm.
9. Assigned work hours are 9:30am 6:00pm Monday - Friday
10. Creating, maintaining and updating all IT documentation, including but not limited to daily reports.
11. Provides support for attorneys and staff for all technology related needs
12. All other duties as assigned
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
1. College graduate
2. 2-3 years experience working in a professional environment
3. A+ Certification, preferred
4. Excellent interpersonal skills
5. Experience implementing, maintaining and supporting Microsoft Windows and Server operating systems as well as Microsoft Office
6. Technical experience configuring and supporting workstations (Ghost)
7. Flexibility to work additional hours as needed
8. Thorough problem solving skills (Cisco Bottom-Up Approach)
9. Able to communicate verbally and in writing
10. High attention to detail
11. Self-starter, energetic, team oriented and strong desire to learn and to excel
