As our customer base continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced and dependable Appliance Technician to join our team on an as-needed, hourly basis.
Position Overview:
The Appliance Technician will handle service calls for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing a variety of home appliances. Work will be assigned on an as-needed basis, making this role ideal for someone seeking flexible hours or supplemental income.
Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair home appliances such as refrigerators, washers, dryers, dishwashers, ovens, and microwaves.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment at each job site.
Keep accurate records of work performed and parts used.
Ensure all work meets safety standards and company quality expectations.
Qualifications:
Minimum 5+ years of experience repairing household appliances (or equivalent training).
Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration systems.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
EPA Certification (preferred but not required).
Compensation:
Hourly pay based on experience and skill level.
