Handyman / Errand Runner for Property Manager - needed in D.C.

Independent contractor part time position. We are a family run property management and land lording company. We always have small odd jobs that need to be done. We pay per job, and the pay is very fair, typically ranging from $25-75 per hour depending on the task. Some examples of the jobs we require are: installing window ac units, cutting keys, communicating with tenants & contractors, going to properties and taking detailed pictures and videos and sharing with What's app, minor repairs, basic carpentry and miscellaneous construction tasks, touch up painting, assessing needed repairs, etc.

Must Haves:

- Polite & Respectful attitude

- Good & honest character and personal conduct

- Ability to follow detailed instructions

- Speak clear English

- Be able to pass a criminal background check

- Drug & Drama free

- Physically fit

- Reliable vehicle, Drivers License, and your own basic hand & power tools

- Basic understanding of construction & property maintenance

- have your own health insurance

Nice to haves:

- intermediate understanding of construction & property maintenance

- intermediate set of hand and power tools

This job would be good for someone who is handy and has some extra time to run small jobs for us. What we are talking about here in terms of time, is from 5-10 hours a week, but sometimes we will need you on short notice, so it would be good if you are local. While it isn't a ton of hours, this is a position that you could have for as long as you want, as we will always need the help. We pay a holiday bonus, and tool bonuses.
