Full-Time Lead Furniture Delivery & Installer – $20-24/hr Starting (Hyattsville, MD)

SDI Delivery is a white-glove delivery and installation company based in Hyattsville, MD. We serve clients across the DMV (DC, Maryland, Virginia) and specialize in high-end furniture delivery with professional care. We’re hiring a full-time Lead Furniture Delivery & Installer who’s experienced, reliable, and ready to grow with a strong team.
Pay & Schedule:
$20–$24/hr starting pay
90-day raise based on performance and reliability
Full-time hours (no overnight routes – home every night)
Overtime available at regular pay (not 1.5x)
What You’ll Do:
Deliver and install luxury furniture across the DMV area
Load/unload heavy items with care and secure properly in trucks
Drive a company vehicle (box truck or van DOT required)
Assemble furniture using hand and power tools
Provide excellent customer service on-site
Handle paperwork and report any delivery issues
Assist in Hyattsville warehouse when needed
What We’re Looking For:
At least 1 year of experience in furniture delivery, moving, or similar
Valid driver’s license
DOT medical card (or ability to get one quickly)
Able to lift 75+ lbs repeatedly and work physically all day
Skilled with tools and confident assembling furniture
Punctual, responsible, and professional
Team-oriented and respectful with clients
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred, but not required
Comfortable navigating staircases, tight spaces, and all weather
