Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Bilingual Spanish Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our client's finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for the full accounts receivable cycle, ensuring accurate and timely billing, payment processing, and reconciliation. Your bilingual Spanish proficiency will be essential in effectively communicating with Spanish-speaking clients and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.Key Responsibilities:
Manage the full accounts receivable process, including preparing, validating, and issuing invoices to clients accurately and on time.
Communicate with clients in both English and Spanish to resolve billing inquiries, address payment discrepancies, and ensure excellent customer service.
Monitor and follow up on outstanding accounts to ensure timely collections and minimize overdue balances.
Reconcile accounts receivable balances to the general ledger, ensuring all discrepancies are identified and resolved promptly.
Maintain accurate records of client communications and payment histories within the accounting system.
Prepare regular reports on accounts receivable performance, including aging analysis and collection trends.
Assist the finance team with month-end and year-end closing activities as needed.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and improve accounts receivable operations.
Adhere to company policies and regulatory compliance standards in all financial activities.
Requirements
Proven experience (2+ years preferred) in accounts receivable, accounting, or a related financial role.
Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills in both languages.
Strong understanding of accounts receivable principles, processes, and practices.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy to ensure the integrity of financial records.
Problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Knowledge of relevant accounting regulations and compliance standards is a plus.
Associate's degree or higher in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred.
