Collections Specialist

Description We are seeking a Collections Specialist to join our team in Boca Raton, Florida. This role is in the service industry and offers a short term contract employment opportunity. The Collections Specialist will be responsible for addressing customer inquiries, maintaining customer credit records, and processing customer credit applications with precision and efficiency.Responsibilities: Address and resolve customer inquiries in a timely and detail oriented manner Keep customer credit records up-to-date and accurate Process customer credit applications efficiently and correctly Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions Utilize billing collection skills to manage accounts Leverage experience with commercial collections in day-to-day operations Ensure all customer interactions are documented in Lawson and Salesforce systems. Requirements Proficiency in Billing Collection is mandatory. Experience in Collections - Commercial is required. Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced service industry. Strong negotiation skills to ensure timely collection of payments. Excellent communication skills to maintain positive relations with clients. Detail-oriented and highly organized to keep accurate records. Ability to meet strict deadlines and manage multiple accounts simultaneously. Ability to understand and interpret financial data. Familiarity with collection laws and regulations. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
