Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Staff Accountant in the Real Estate Property/Facilities Management industry, based in Boca Raton, Florida. As a Staff Accountant, you will play a crucial role in managing financial activities, ranging from handling Accounts Payable and Receivable to assisting with month-end closing procedures.Responsibilities: Accurately process and manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Support the Corporate and GC Accounting teams in their daily operations Assist in the year-end audit by gathering necessary backup Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy Ensure accurate record keeping of the General Ledger Manage and record journal entries as needed Utilize financial systems such as NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP effectively Contribute to month-end close procedures to maintain financial efficiency. Requirements Possess expertise in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) management. Proficiency in conducting Bank Reconciliations is required. Must have a solid understanding of General Ledger management. Ability to prepare and post Journal Entries is necessary. Must have experience in performing Month End Close activities. Proficiency in using NetSuite software is required. Experience with Oracle software is desirable. Must be skilled in using QuickBooks for accounting tasks. Knowledge of SAP software for accounting purposes is a plus.
