Local Seawall company looking for driven individuals to join our team as a Marine Laborer

Marine Laborers - play a critical role in the construction and maintenance of marine and coastal infrastructure projects. This position involves performing various manual labor tasks to support the construction, repair, and maintenance of docks, seawalls, and other marine structures. The ideal candidate will have experience in heavy civil construction, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work in challenging environments.

Pay is determed based on the skills of the personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and maintain various types of construction equipment and tools, including but not limited to jackhammers, drills, saws, and concrete mixers.

Perform tasks such as concrete demolition and concrete forming.

Must have the ability to work in confined spaces, climb ladders, and work at heights with fall gear.

Load, unload, and transport construction materials and equipment to and from the worksite.

Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe work environment for all team members.

Work collaboratively with other team members, including heavy equipment operators, excavators, welders, and commercial divers, to complete projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in heavy civil construction but not a requirement.

Ability to operate and maintain construction equipment and tools.

Strong understanding of construction techniques and best practices.

Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.

Basic knowledge of safety regulations and practices in construction.

Must pass a background check.

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Certifications in OSHA safety training and other relevant areas are preferred.
