RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client seeking a Business Analyst in Miami, FL (Florida).
Key Responsibilities:
In this role, the Business Analyst will act as the liaison between the business and the technical team members through the solution delivery process
Working with Agile practices and associated skills including user story writing
Detailed interrogation of Product Owner's needs and gathering functional and non-functional requirements
The Business Analyst will help perform functional acceptance testing of enhancements, patches and upgrades
Perform system troubleshooting in a production support environment
Assist users in solving both functional and system issues within agreed-to-service level agreements (SLAs)
Provide end-user instruction, training and support to resolve application issues
As a Business Analyst, you will assist in designing and formulating solutions
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, and/or Finance
At least 5 years of relevant experience
Ability to understand complex technical concepts and present them in simple terms to non-technical team members and Product Owner
Experience supporting back-office applications that support Invoicing, Accounts Payable, Order to Cash, Procure to Pay processes is desirable
Experience building custom applications that support finance, billing, and financial operations business functions is desirable
Experience in documenting complex business requirements, functional specifications, and test scenarios
Understanding of key AGILE concepts.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to break down complex information into smaller parts, to analyze, interpret, evaluate and construct reasoned arguments in order to solve a problem or reach a conclusion
Ability to write clear and complete user stories, including acceptance criteria, and to logically break bigger stories or epics into smaller ones
Understand domain, business rules, market, industry related to the product being worked on
Understand product functionally, features, limitations, that help determine the feasibility of potential solutions
