Paramount Van Lines is hiring a full-time Dispatcher to join our in-house operations team in Delray Beach, FL. We are a national household goods carrier and broker, servicing all 50 states. If you’re experienced in dispatching household goods and ready to take on a vital role in a fast-paced logistics environment, we want to hear from you!
Position: Dispatcher – Household Goods
Location: In-office – Delray Beach, FL
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (1-hour lunch)
Type: Full-Time, On-Site Only
Key Responsibilities:
Route and coordinate trucks across the U.S. efficiently and on schedule
Log and manage all load locations, including pickups, deliveries, and storage
Accurately estimate fuel and materials for each job to assess profitability
Maintain communication with drivers and manage route issues in real time
Collaborate with operations and customer service teams for smooth execution
Handle on site issues and revisions
Requirements:
Must have experience dispatching household goods
Strong knowledge of U.S. routes, logistics, and transportation planning
Detail-oriented with the ability to track and manage multiple shipments and crews
Proficient with dispatching systems and digital tracking tools
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
Must be able to work on-site in our Delray Beach office
