We are looking for an Air Sea Coordinator to join our Operations team. The Air Sea Coordinator primary responsibility will to be book air for Atlas Ocean Voyages’ guests and is responsible for supporting the reservations team with all aspects related to air operations. This position is expected to help ensure quality, consistency and accuracy within the air program. This role is expected to be an expert in air reservations and communicate with our air service supplier within the organization.
ResponsibilitiesConfirm and ticket the best possible flights for our cruise passengers with respect to routing, adequate layover times, and departure and arrival times all while working within a given per flight budget using our air service supplier.
Help ensure quality control by running manifest reports to ensure all air guests have ticketed air and flight information is communicated to guest.
Assist with aspects of our arrival and departure ground transfers, including all manifests. This also includes working directly with all ground transfer operators.
Actively play a role in quality control and required action to address any issues pertaining to all airline reservations within the air reservations system.
Engage internal and external customers, as necessary, to address airline reservations matters.
Specialist of the air program and air sold by AOV, to include, but not limited to fully understanding all air program policies and procedures and ability to communicate them verbally or in writing as necessary.
Ensure compliance with all air program terms and conditions.
Assist Manager of Air Sea with tracking and reporting the variance between air costs and air revenue.
Secure upgrades and coordinate any guest special requests or itinerary customizations (i.e. multiple seats for same guest, special meals, wheelchair assistance).
Maintain a professional and productive relationship with the air service provider.
Work closely with all levels within the organization.
Other duties as required.
