I am looking for a person to provide assistance to both parents but primarily to my mom who is in a nursing home. She needs company, someone to talk to, hold her hand, tell her stories, watch tv with and ask for help from an aide when needed, such as when she needs to have her undergarments changed. The assistant will also follow protocols regarding monitoring my mom's health, her possessions, putting her to bed and so forth. The assistant will not need to clean her or do any lifting. It's a companion/aide position. For my father the same assistant will do the occasional errands, buy groceries, cleaning and cooking.
The position pays $20 per hour and requires a valid driver license in Florida as well as a background check. You will be a freelance independent contractor. There will be approximately 30 hours per week of work, perhaps more. My parents are wonderful, kind loving people. I, the son, will manage all payments and make all decisions so you will only have to report to me. This is a great job for a kind, responsible and loving person.
