We are a leader in light industrial warehouse rentals and self-storage in south Florida. We are seeking an experienced property maintenance technician to support our self-storage operation in Boca Raton, FL.
The scope of work includes all basic building maintenance including basic electrical, plumbing, golf carts, maintenance and custodial duties. This person will ensure that the company standards of cleanliness and appearance are met in offices, restrooms, rental units, and exterior areas. This individual will be responsible for performing all preventative maintenance work on equipment, gates, ect. The maintenance technician must perform these tasks with minimum direct supervision and be able to operate effectively on a team.
To be considered, the candidate must be able to demonstrate the following REQUIRED attributes:
1. A Pro-Active positive attitude
2. Strong customer service skills
3. Minimum 3 years of property maintenance experience
4. Basic Tools knowledge
5. Complete all work tasks in an efficient, timely manner
6. Must have strong, reputable references
Responsibilities will include;
Working with tenants to demonstrate site knowledge, and provide customer service
Ensure the facility has sufficient supplies on hand to fill job duties
Monitoring of the physical condition of the facility and reporting maintenance issues appropriately
Completes routine maintenance such as changing light bulbs, some painting and minor repairs, replacements, electrical repairs and landscaping
Providing preventative maintenance on property
Cleans vacated units, hallways and grounds on a timely basis
Cleans office and restrooms weekly
Review units to make sure all doors, latches, and locks are functional
Make pest control inspections and take appropriate actions
Ensure the safe handling and storage of chemicals/cleaners used in performing duties
Perform duties assigned in compliance with safety standards
