Our law firm located in Jupiter, Florida is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Part-Time Bookkeeper/Office Manager to join our team. This role is ideal for a professional with strong financial and administrative skills to support the smooth operation of our firm.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing and payment processing
Maintain accurate financial records and prepare monthly financial reports
Reconcile bank statements and ensure compliance with accounting procedures
Oversee office operations, including supply management and vendor coordination
Support Attorney’s and Paralegals as needed
Assist with scheduling, correspondence, and other administrative tasks as needed
Ensure confidentiality and security of financial and confidential information
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience, preferably in a law firm or professional services environment
Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting software
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping
Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a part-time schedule
Familiarity with legal billing practices is a plus
Professional communication skills for interacting with clients, vendors, and team members
Compensation: Compensation is commensurate with experience, familiarity with legal accounting practices (e.g., trust accounts, billing), proficiency in QuickBooks and qualifications.
