Job Summary:
The Construction Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing construction projects from inception to completion. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget. The Construction Project Manager will work closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality projects that meet client expectations and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, organize, and manage all phases of the construction project lifecycle, including design, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and execution.
Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets.
Lead project teams, including contractors, subcontractors, engineers, and architects, to ensure smooth coordination and successful project execution.
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements at all stages of the project.
Communicate regularly with clients and stakeholders to provide updates on project status, risks, and potential changes.
Identify and mitigate risks that could impact project timelines or costs.
Manage project documentation, including contracts, permits, and progress reports.
Ensure efficient allocation of resources, including materials, equipment, and labor.
Monitor and report on project progress, making adjustments as needed to meet deadlines and budget goals.
Conduct regular site visits to ensure work aligns with project plans and specifications.
Handle any issues or conflicts that arise during the construction process.
Qualifications:
Proven experience (3+ years) as a Construction Project Manager or in a similar role.
In-depth knowledge of construction processes, materials, and best practices.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent budgeting, scheduling, and organizational abilities.
Knowledge of building codes, permits, and safety regulations.
PMP or other project management certifications are a plus.
