We are in search of a retired but seasoned General Contractor or Project Manager with a wealth of experience and a reliable track record in the construction industry. The ideal candidate should have a robust background in the construction industry and be eager to contribute their expertise to a diverse range of projects. Key Responsibilities:
- Project Oversight: Lead and consult on ground-up commercial construction, commercial renovations, and demolition projects.
- Estimating & Cost Management: Provide accurate project estimations and oversee cost management.
- Contract Negotiations: Engage in and navigate complex contract negotiations with clients and subcontractors.
- Business Development: Pursue and secure private and government construction contracts, leveraging your vast industry network.
- Project Management: Ensure successful project outcomes through effective planning, execution, and closeout strategies.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with clients, subcontractors, and team members to ensure alignment and satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in both commercial construction and renovation projects.
- Strong background in commercial construction, government projects, demolition, estimating, and contract negotiations.
- Demonstrated business acumen and strategic thinking.
- Familiarity with both private and government contract processes.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- GC License is NOT required for this role.
