We are looking for an experienced OTR Dispatcher to join our team on-site, with the possibility to transition to a remote position. You will be responsible for booking loads, negotiating rates, and managing drivers for our nationwide trucking operations. If you can keep drivers busy and negotiate like a pro, we want you on board!
Key Responsibilities:
Book loads using load boards and other freight sources
Negotiate rates with brokers and shippers to maximize profits
Manage drivers: plan routes, assign loads, and provide ongoing support
Communicate daily with drivers to ensure smooth operations
Troubleshoot issues that arise during deliveries
Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company policies
Requirements:
1+ years of experience in OTR dispatch (required)
Strong negotiating skills
Familiarity with load boards and freight markets
Ability to manage multiple drivers effectively
Excellent communication and multitasking abilities
Must be available to work on-site, with flexibility to transition into a remote role after proven performance
Compensation: Competitive pay based on experience. Full-time, on-site position with the possibility of remote work after a probation period.
