This is a part-time position for an experienced Bookkeeper with more than 10 years of experience. This role requires extensive experience with QuickBooks Online (QBO), ADP Payroll, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Reconciliation (Bank, Credit Cards, Balance Sheets).
Key Responsibilities:
Accounts Payable (AP):
Process and record vendor invoices
Manage payment of invoices and ensure timely disbursement
Reconcile accounts payable transactions
Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date
Accounts Receivable (AR):
Generate and send out invoices
Follow up on, collect, and allocate payments
Reconcile accounts receivable transactions
Monitor customer accounts for non-payment and delayed payments
Payroll Management:
Process payroll for employees using ADP Payroll systems
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local payroll regulations
Maintain payroll records and reports
Handle payroll inquiries from employees
General Accounting:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions
Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly
Reconcile balance sheet accounts
Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes
Prepare financial reports as needed
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role
10+ years of experience with QuickBooks Online (QBO) and ADP Payroll
Extensive experience with Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Reconciliation (Bank, Credit Cards, Balance Sheets)
Fluent in English with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
