A Custom frame shop and a small Art gallery is looking for an experienced retail shop associate to handle showroom responsibilities. The qualified candidate is a retail shop assistant with an outgoing personality, who can manage day-to-day operations with walk-in customers and art custom framing requests. Experience in a custom framing shop or art gallery is a plus, but not absolutely required. We provide training on how to assist customers with framing options, dimensions, and frame sales. Your positive experience in sales is what matters most to us. Interior design knowledge and Instagram/Facebook posting skills are also your plus.
Requirements:
Experience in small Retail Business and Custom assistant
Proficient with Microsoft Office and able to quickly learn vendor/supplier custom framing pricing software programs.
Experience with assisting customers in a showroom (walk-ins & appointments) with selections (Frame styles, finishes, custom frame selection, art, etc.), and placing orders. Typing invoices in Quickbooks is a plus.
Experience in any kind of sales.
Exceptional organizational skills and a good eye for detail.
