We are looking for a person who can commit to working in a retail store environment in a Pool Equipment and Supply Retail Store
Duties are:
Customer Service:
Greet customers, answer questions, and assist them with product selection and pool-related concerns.
Water Testing and Balancing:
Test pool water samples and recommend appropriate chemicals to help customers maintain proper water balance.
Store Maintenance:
Keep the store clean and organized, including maintaining displays, restocking merchandise, and performing general cleaning duties.
Sales Transactions:
Accurately and efficiently process sales using the register and handle cash accountabilities.
Product Knowledge:
Provide customers with knowledgeable information on pool maintenance and the various products available.
Inventory Management:
Assist with processing and replenishing merchandise, including receiving and monitoring floor stock.
Qualifications and Skills
Customer Service:
A customer-centric approach with excellent communication and interpersonal skills is essential.
Retail Experience:
Previous experience in retail is often required, while pool industry experience is highly preferred.
Training:
While pool chemistry knowledge is preferred, training is provided for candidates with the right attitude and commitment.
Adaptability:
Flexibility to perform various duties outside of a specific role is beneficial.
Teamwork:
Ability to work effectively in a team environment is important.
