This position is for a road/service tech driver for a golf cart company.
-Solid communication skills in English, time management skills, detail oriented with paper work, safe driver, self- motivated and a team player. Willing to work Saturdays from time to time as needed.
-Basic mechanical/ assembly skills essential including battery swaps, tire changes on golf carts, minor electrical fixes or parts replacement, basic assembly including tops, seats and windshields.
-The position is focused on deliveries and pick-ups of sales carts, trade-in carts, service carts, and leasing carts for business & residential customers. This may include on-site repairs as needed. Driver tech will follow routes and scheduling provided by the Service Manager in executing their daily activities. Customer priorities and the schedule can change quickly for cart emergencies and with critical customers that may call in. Driver must be comfortable with last minute changes of their route or the daily activities as the business needs.
-Ability to handle heavy lifting batteries in golf carts and other heavier golf cart parts up to 80lbs.
-Position will be responsible for maintaining a clean truck, and daily fluid checks and preventative maintenance oversight. Safety is a priority every day for the business.
-Skills in customer service, politeness, clean appearance, and professionalism required. Positive outlook is a must.
-Prior repair or assembly experience is a plus.
-Applicant must have basic tools to use on the road (drill, impact, sockets, wrenches, etc).
-Clean driving record.
-Work hours from 7am – 4:00pm.
