Job Summary:
The Irrigation Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing irrigation systems for residential, commercial, and municipal clients. This role requires a deep understanding of irrigation systems, troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to quality service.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, test, and maintain irrigation systems and related components.
Troubleshoot and repair system malfunctions, leaks, and damaged components.
Conduct routine inspections to ensure systems are functioning properly.
Calibrate and adjust system controllers for optimal water usage.
Provide recommendations to clients for system upgrades or enhancements.
Maintain detailed service records and reports.
Comply with company safety protocols and industry regulations.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as an Irrigation Technician or similar role.
Strong understanding of irrigation system components, including controllers, valves, and sprinkler heads.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
