Our long term 15 year, old school, employee is retiring at the end of the year. He has been a all around home building carpenter, mostly trim now that he is 74 yrs old, can frame a wall, install a window, hang a door, tapcon hurricane tie downs, chip some concrete off a floor, patch and paint a small drywall hole, install baseboard, casing and door hardware, install cabinets, vanities, install a permit board post, install address numbers and tp holders, install a microwave, install stair railing, pickets, treads and risers.you get my drift.
We need to replace him with a qualified person who can perform the same duties which also include
1. Show up for work everyday (early) - even when sick
2. Doesn't complain when asked to so something difficult
3. Good work ethic, coachable, energetic, and passionate about his job
4. Stays late a few times a month to get things done- does a little extra
5. Has a good attitude and want to make the company look good
6. Purchases new tools as he needs them
7. Being prepared for the next days work
8. Is grateful for his Xmas bonus and completed job bonuses.
9. Emails timesheet every Sunday before work on the next work week start.
10. Takes his 2 week vacation money and still works to get double pay.
