Offer contingent on the position being awarded.This position will support the US Department of Veterans Affairs Critical Staffing Program.  The person in this position will represent International SOS and provide services outlined below: International SOS is looking for an individual who is an experienced Physical Medicine and Rehab Ambulatory Registered Nurse to deliver specialized care to patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions, focusing on rehabilitation and functional improvement. This role involves assessing patient progress, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes and enhance the quality of life.Key Responsibilities:Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to evaluate their physical abilities, functional limitations, and rehabilitation needs. Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with physical therapists, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals. Administer treatments and rehabilitation interventions as prescribed, monitoring patients for progress and response to therapies. Educate patients and their families on conditions, treatment plans, and self-management strategies to promote independence and recovery. Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting care plans as needed to enhance recovery and functional outcomes. Provide support and encouragement to patients, facilitating their emotional and psychological adjustment during rehabilitation. Maintain accurate and complete patient records in compliance with regulatory and organizational standards. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices in rehabilitation nursing.
