Position Summary:
The Property Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations, leasing, and financial performance of the property. This role ensures that all units are leased, maintained, and managed according to company standards while delivering exceptional service to residents and maintaining positive owner relations.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily property operations including leasing, maintenance, and tenant relations.
Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal housing regulations.
Collect rent, manage delinquencies, and prepare financial and occupancy reports.
Coordinate maintenance requests and supervise vendors, contractors, and staff.
Conduct regular property inspections to ensure cleanliness, safety, and quality standards.
Manage lease renewals, move-ins, and move-outs efficiently.
Develop and execute marketing strategies to maintain high occupancy levels.
Resolve tenant issues and handle complaints in a professional and timely manner.
Prepare annual budgets and control expenses to meet financial goals.
Train, lead, and motivate on-site staff to deliver excellent customer service.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Property Manager or Assistant Property Manager.
Strong knowledge of property management software (e.g., Yardi, AppFolio, Buildium, etc.)
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Understanding of leasing, maintenance, and financial reporting processes.
High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
Preferred Skills:
Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws.
Experience managing multi-family or commercial properties.
