Responsibilities:
Hours: Monday - Friday | 8 hour shifts
Troubleshoot downed electrical equipment, electrical panels and lighting systems
Troubleshoot and repair motor control centers; alarm systems; signal flow systems; lift stations, electrical panels and other electrical systems; such as raceways and cable trays
Install, calibrate, and test analyzers, electric motors, electric panel boards, lighting and power circuits
Perform routine maintenance on electrical wiring and systems
Measure, cut and bend wire and conduit using measuring instruments, hand tools, electric tools, or hydraulic tools
Perform semiskilled and unskilled laboring duties related to the installation, maintenance, and repair of a wide variety of electrical systems and equipment
Follow state and local building regulations based on the National Electrical Code as well as all safety codes
Qualifications:
2 or more years of proven experience as an Electrician Proficient with electrical processes & codes Competent with reading blueprints, drawings, & diagrams
Ability to bend and run PVC conduit using a PVC heat box, blanket or gun
Ability to stand, bend, kneel and walk for extended periods throughout the day
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds without reasonable accommodation
Prior experience in the Industrial field preferred
Prior experience using hand tools and power tools
Work at least 40 hours a week and overtime if required
Have tools of the trade and bring them to work daily
