Electrical Engineer

Description:A minimum of 2 to 4 years of experience in electrical and automation/controls development, project management, installation, and qualification is required. Must have experience in AutoCAD. Must have experience in NEC and NFPA 70E. Working experience in transformers, switchgear, motor control equipment and control panel. Working experience in IO check and Safety Matrix is preferred. Six Sigma and/or Lean experience is preferred. Excellent technical problem-solving skills is required. Engineering experience with high volume production line environment is preferred. Experience working in a manufacturing facility is preferred. Working knowledge and/or troubleshooting skills in the following areas are highly preferred: Process improvement, PLC systems, safety devices, equipment installation, debug and qualification, control circuitry development, electro-mechanical troubleshooting/repair, equipment prototyping, production start-up, equipment process development and mechanical devices, controller, mechanical fabrication design, electrical and prints. Thorough knowledge of government regulatory requirements & engineering standards is required. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks is required. Must be collaborative, creative, resourceful mindset, comfortable working in uncertainty and in a fast-paced, highly dynamic environment. Good communication skills without assistance, both written and verbal are required. Ability to work in an empowered work team environment is required. Good interpersonal skills are required. Excellent detail oriented organizational skills are required. Must be willing to work holidays and weekends as needed. Support, development, and deployment activities as assigned. Manages multiple projects across various disciplines with considerable latitude for unreviewed action or decision. Participates in projects of major magnitude and scope or more than one project. Supports electrical design review, new products, and new equipment installations. Lead review and update electrical drawings by using AutoCAD. Supports engineering projects to improve the throughput, cycle time, and yield. Qualifies new equipment controls and performs vendor and site acceptance testing to meet government standards. Demonstrates mastery and is considered an expert/leader for electrical, key machine safety and/or software competencies across the entire manufacturing production line. Maintains current knowledge and adhere to provisions of Engineering Standards/ standard methodologies, FDA, OSHA, GMP, GEP, NEC, NFPA 70E, equipment specifications and process specifications. Responsible for providing engineering, operational and troubleshooting support to electric systems. Responsible to create CR (Change Request), MOC (Management of Change), develop test plan and execute. Recommends major changes in procedures and technology. Investigates alternative methods and procedures to reduce variability and improve equipment reliability. Provides technical and process support to MAKE while adhering to all quality and safety procedures.
