Description Are you a tech-savvy problem solver eager to tackle complex IT challenges?We're searching for a driven IT Help Desk Tier 2 Specialist to join our dynamic team! In this role, you'll leverage your expertise in Windows 10, Active Directory, Group Policy, Microsoft Office 365 and Network Troubleshooting to resolve challenging technical issues for our users. Your ability to think critically, collaborate effectively, and navigate complex systems will be crucial in ensuring our internal technology runs smoothly and efficiently.Responsibilities:· Windows 10 Support: Diagnose and troubleshoot complex technical issues related to Windows 10 desktops and laptops. Perform advanced configurations, deployments, and updates.· Active Directory & Group Policy: Manage user accounts, groups, and permissions within Active Directory. Create and implement Group Policy Objects (GPOs) to enforce security and configuration standards.· Microsoft Office 365 Support: Provide first-line support for all Office 365 applications, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Teams. Troubleshoot account issues, application bugs, and configuration problems.· Network Troubleshooting: Analyze network connectivity issues and utilize diagnostic tools to identify and resolve network problems. Collaborate with network engineers for advanced troubleshooting.· SCCM (Nice to Have): Experience with System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) for software deployment and asset management is a plus.· Ticket Management: Log and track all incident tickets efficiently, communicate updates to users, and escalate issues to Tier 3 when necessary.· Documentation & Knowledge Base: Contribute to the development and maintenance of internal knowledge base articles and documentation.· Collaboration & Communication: Maintain excellent communication skills to interact effectively with users, colleagues, and external vendors.Requirements Qualifications:· Minimum 2 years of experience in an IT Help Desk role, preferably within a corporate environment.· Strong understanding of Windows 10 operating system, including troubleshooting methodologies and advanced configurations.· Working knowledge of Active Directory and Group Policy management.· Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 applications with experience troubleshooting common user issues.· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical problems.· Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with users and colleagues.· Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.· Excellent time management and organizational skills.Bonus Points:· Experience with System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM).· IT certifications such as A+, CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA).· Previous experience in a Tier 2 support role.Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.® Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
