Network Administrator

Description

Install, configure, and maintain hardware, software, and network systems, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless networks.

Monitor and optimize network performance to ensure reliability and security.

Troubleshoot and resolve network outages, connectivity issues, and hardware/software problems.

Administer server environments, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and VPN configurations.

Implement and maintain network security protocols, including firewalls and intrusion detection systems.

Perform routine maintenance, system backups, and disaster recovery testing.

Provide technical guidance and training to staff on network usage and features.

Keep documentation for configurations, network diagrams, and troubleshooting procedures up to date.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Network Administrator or similar role.

Solid understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and troubleshooting (LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs).

Experience with network hardware (Cisco, Juniper, etc.), server operating systems, and virtualization technologies.

Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
