Description
Configure, maintain, and support servers, workstations, and other IT infrastructure components.
Monitor system performance, uptime, and overall reliability, proactively addressing potential issues
Deploy, manage, and update on-premise and cloud-based systems (e.g., Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS).
Administer and maintain virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V.
Ensure system security through regular updates, patches, and anti-virus tools.
Design and implement backup/recovery solutions to protect business-critical data.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network problems, escalating complex cases when necessary.
Collaborate with IT and business teams on system upgrades, projects, and strategic technology initiatives.
Maintain up-to-date system documentation, including inventories, configurations, and processes.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Hands-on experience with Windows Server, Linux distributions, or both.
Proficiency in cloud environments like AWS or Azure
Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and other networking fundamentals.
Familiarity with tools and platforms such as PowerShell, Ansible, or other scripting/automation technologies.
Relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA Server+, VMware Certified Professional, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator) are a plus.
