Find your future with us.The Boeing Global Services (BGS) organization is looking for Quality Control Inspectors to join the P-8 team in Jacksonville, Florida .Position Responsibilities:
This inspector implements quality control and safety plans to ensure compliance with contract specifications and applicable regulations
Inspects all phases of a variety of goods, services or operation for conformity to established quality, health and safety, and other operational standards by performing on-going work for compliance with contractual provisions
Ensures all services listed on the performance requirement summary are performed in a satisfactory manner
Specifies areas to be inspected (scheduled and unscheduled) and how often inspections will be accomplished
Communicates deficiencies to proper persons
Maintains Quality Control files
Document results of all inspections.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at Jacksonville, FL.This position requires the ability to obtain a US Secret Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Minimum of 3 years of Quality Aerospace Inspection experience.
3+ years of experience performing product or process inspections.
3+ years of experience reading and interpreting aerospace engineering drawings and blueprints.
Willingness to work 2nd shift.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Experience working with large aircraft Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) inspections.
Experience with Mod related electrical installation.
P-8 Flight line experience/Operation Check
Experience with Boeing P-8 aircraft and/or Military aircraft.
FAA Airframe & Powerplant license would be beneficial.
Typical Education/ Experience:Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 1 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate).Relocation:This position does not offer relocation.
