RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client seeking a Quality Assurance Manager in Jacksonville, FL.

Summary:
The Quality Assurance Manager will oversee a quality assurance team, in their development, implementation and maintenance of a system of quality and related testing of software developed by our client or one of its partners. The manager must be strategic and adapt the team and its services to meet technological or process advances and the ever-changing needs of the organization.

REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences or Computer Engineering; Or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
Certification from a professional organization specific to Software Development, Software Testing, or Quality Assurance, preferred for example the International Software Testing Qualifications Board (ITQSB) or Certified Quality Engineer (CSQE)
3 years of previous experience of Quality Assurance Management and prior experience in Quality Assurance Testing
Experience working within an Agile software development lifecycle (SDLC)
Experience using software repository tools such as Git
Experience using automated QA tools such as Selenium and Jenkins
Experience using load and performance tools such as JMeter and artillery.io
Experience testing APIs
Act as key point of contact for all QA aspects of software deliverables, providing QA services and coordinating QA resources

SUMMARY: Responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining safety, health and/or environmental programs ensuring regulatory compliances, providing regulatory and technical support and training assistance at all levels within the organization. GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Directs and/or coordinates the transportation safety management process and provides overall support and guidance to the regional and local transportation operations. Coordinate with corporate safety team and operations leadership in crafting and enforcing strategies in building a safety culture within the transportation operation. Introduce and oversees systems and activities to maintain oversight of regulatory compliance, provide training and professional development for management and Commercial Motor Vehicle operations. Conduct audits and inspections of equipment, drivers hours of service, locations, and overall field operations to ensure compliance with the safety and regulatory policies. Manage and/or participate in the investigation of incidents, identifying root causes, and assists in initial report preparation. Prepares a timely final report of findings with recommendations for corrective actions. Ensure compliance with corporate policies as well as local, state and federal regulations. Develop standardization and best practices to safety processes, templates and practices. Review safety reports, corrective action requests, training, near misses, event reports, change of command forms etc.; and use technical expertise to provide feedback and/or suggest improvements. Interpret and evaluate the accumulation of data; and develop appropriate controls to mitigate hazards related to high risk operations. Champion the safety culture, perform operational assessments to review the effectiveness and efficiency of safety and environmental practices and procedures. Identify safety-training requirements and facilitate development and implementation of safety training programs. EDUCATION: Bachelor\'s degree in occupational safety and health, marine engineering/transportation or related scientific or management discipline; or a combination of post high school and equal experience may be substituted for education. EXPERIENCE: 5 years professional/managerial experience in safety, health and environmental management in transportation.Thorough understanding and knowledge of Federal Motor Carrier Regulations as they pertain to the safe operation of a trucking operation.
