Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Systems Administrator in Jacksonville, Florida. This role will primarily involve managing and maintaining hardware systems, providing technical support to users, and ensuring the smooth operation of all IT-related aspects of the company. Responsibilities: Oversee the onboarding process, including setting up hardware and provisioning for new users. Regularly monitor the ticket queue to promptly address and resolve user issues. Conduct hardware repairs as necessary, which may involve the physical handling of equipment. Provide support for various devices including laptops, desktops, and mobile devices (Samsung & iOS). Perform remote and physical troubleshooting Utilize ServiceNow for ticketing and other system administration tasks. Maintain professional and courteous interactions with all individuals in the company, from IT executives to mailroom staff. Demonstrate flexibility and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Support servers and manage systems involving MS Windows 10, Active Directory, and MS Office 365.Requirements Proficiency in MS Windows 10 is expected Must have experience with Active Directory Proficiency in MS Office 365 is required Must have experience in Mobile Device Support Management and maintenance of system updates and patches Ability to troubleshoot and resolve system issues quickly Strong communication skills for effectively explaining technical issues to non-technical team members Ability to create and maintain system documentation Must have a proactive approach to identify potential issues and solutions Experience in managing user accounts, including setting up, disabling, and removal Must have a good understanding of network protocols and firewall management Must be able to work independently and as part of a team Experience in backup and recovery software and methodologies Must have strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail A degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred Relevant certifications in IT and Systems Administration will be an advantage Must be willing to be on-call outside of regular office hours when needed.
